The most dangerous thoughts to entertain, are the ones that begin with ‘if only’ or ‘what if’.  

Hello? Don’t just sit there.  Do something about it.

If what pains God doesn’t pain me enough, I need to be more than “enough”.

The cynical pessimist says all good things come to an end, while the optimistic realist says make the most of every waking moment.

Perhaps we ought to take comfort in knowing that we’re never alone in feeling alone.

It’s really unnecessary to take such extreme stances to everything. Just because you think your perspective is right doesn’t mean its the truth, it doesn’t mean you get to discredit others. Humility and considering others better than yourself doesn’t mean you let people trample all over you, it’s not about you. Strong belief doesn’t mean you sever everything else, when really it’s all connected. 

We have to remember that we all have blind spots, we all fail to notice important details. We have biases, we see what we want to see, we jump to conclusions. We believe we’re better people than we really are. In tearing things apart though, we lose its meaning. We can think all we want, but maybe we should settle knowing that we will never really know. There’s always, always, room for more. Nothing is ever black and white.

Maybe we should all take every moment as it is.  Never assume, or expect anything from people.  Because people will always surprise you, for better or for worse.
